Ms. Lisa

With decades of dance and choreography experience, Ms. Lisa has taught ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical since 2002. She’s also led studio operations and served as director at Premier Dance of Ocala. Lisa brings warmth, structure, and a heart for helping both dancers and families thrive.

Personal Info

Ms. Lisa started dancing at the age of 10, in 1971, at Nancy Haram School of Dance in Melbourne. She took jazz, ballet, and tap. She attended several dance conventions during that time. Ms. Lisa went on to dance with her high school dance team, the Deckettes, for 3 years.
She choreographed throughout those years for football games, basketball games, and statewide competitions. In her senior year she served as head choreographer and captain where her team won many prestigious awards.
During college at University of Florida, she continued classes in ballet and jazz, and took tap over the summers. Ms. Lisa began work at Mary Ellen School of Dance in 2002, as a Tiny Tots teacher. After several years of doing that, she moved into Jr/Teen classes including lyrical, jazz, ballet and tap, and combo classes. She continued on at Premier Dance of Ocala after Mary Ellen retired teaching the same styles and levels. Since 2002 | have also served as office staff, office manager, and studio director.
